Project Description

We seek a Senior Data Analyst to create and support organizational data engineering efforts. This role will work closely with the engineering teams to maintain and help create a high-quality data ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Data Quality and data completeness by implementing monitoring dashboards for business-critical data
  • Identify problems in data assets and take appropriate corrective action to fix them within defined SLAs
  • Gather information from disparate systems to identify data discrepancies
  • Research and complete data requests or data changes requested by the business
  • Work with Business counterparts to understand their data needs and implement changes in existing systems or source new data for their new data needs
  • Write, execute, and debug SQL queries to confirm data completeness, correctness, data transformation, and data quality testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in IT/Math/Quantitative discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience working with data and supporting data operations
  • Understanding of database models and design (both SQL and NoSQL)
  • Knowledge and experience working with SQL, Python and AWS, Snowflake, Postgres
  • Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, data wrangling, data quality, standardizations, transformations, etc
  • Exposure to testing data for data marts, data warehouses, and data integration solutions
  • Experience with relational SQL, including PostgreSQL Snowflake, and MSSQL
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases - both operational DBs and data warehouses
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
  • Prior experience with ETL tools and Master Data Management concepts is a plus
