We're seeking a Senior Networking Automation QA Engineer with SONiC experience to join our team and build world-leading software for professional network equipment and devices, including routers, switches, adaptors, and embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- You will design and implement a Python-based test automation framework for networking products such as switches, routers, and network packet brokers.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate test automation into the development process, addressing issues promptly.
- Align test automation strategies with customer needs.
Requirements
- SONiC configuration/verification experience (must)
- Experience in the networking industry, specifically with configuration of switches and routers.
- In-depth understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and architectures, including L2/L3 and protocols like ARP, VLAN, STP, IGMP, BGP, SNMP etc.
- Experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with a focus on test automation and scripting.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with other scripting languages.
- Experience with network testing and monitoring tools, like Spirent and Ixia.
- Knowledge of Git and Docker.
