Data Engineer for Biotech startup (AWS data stack)

Innovative biotech medical & well-being startup, which develops in-clinic solutions for treating psychological, psycho-somatic and other disorders, enhancing sleep quality & wellness, is looking for a Data Engineer to build its Cloud Data Platform which will aggregate, process, and analyze clinical session data,  de-personalize. patient information. We are currently developing software for the intersection of medical technology, data engineering, and applicability and integrating third-party sensors into our devices.

System architecture at the current stage (beta) is follows: 

• Local Device (Raspberry Pi or similar) integrated into a sleeping place
  • patient sessions during sleep
  • Signal processing from external sensors 
  • Local processing & storage
  • Initial processing and cloud storage should be implemented
• Cloud Data Analytics and Storage (AWS)
  • Data lake/warehouse infrastructure 
  • Data Science models, analyses, and prediction algorithms 
  • Proprietary data analytic methods and processing algorithms
  • Industry-wide tools for biomedical data visualization 
• Doctor/User Profile (Web)
  • Doctor/Patient profile
  • Access to all data sessions from the cloud
  • Data access separation - identifiable and de-personalized patient data
  • Analysis and Recommendations

Requirements: 

• AWS Cloud services for Data stack, including ELT/ETL, pipeline processing
• Data visualization for biomedical data
• Background in biological/medical data processing and visualization, digital signal processing and the medical or biology industry will be a plus
