Summary

We are seeking a skilled RPA Developer/Process Engineer to join our automation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end process optimization, including process discovery, mapping, reengineering, and automation using various software tools such as Power Automate, Robocorp, UiPath, and others.

The RPA Developer/Process Engineer will work closely with business stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, redesign processes, and implement automation solutions to streamline operations and drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct process discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
  2. Create detailed process maps and documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart.
  3. Analyze processes and identify areas for optimization, simplification, and automation.
  4. Reengineer processes to eliminate redundancies, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency.
  5. Design and develop RPA solutions using Power Automate, Robocorp, UiPath, and other automation software.
  6. Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate reengineered processes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  7. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation solutions to ensure they are reliable, efficient, and error-free.
  8. Implement and deploy RPA solutions in production environments, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
  9. Monitor and maintain deployed automation solutions, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
  10. Continuously monitor and measure the performance of automated processes, identifying opportunities for further optimization.
  11. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in process optimization and RPA.
  12. Provide training and support to end-users on the usage of reengineered and automated processes. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in process discovery, mapping, and reengineering, with a strong portfolio of successful optimization projects.
  3. Proficiency in RPA tools such as Power Automate, Robocorp, and UiPath.
  4. Strong understanding of business process analysis, optimization, and automation techniques.
  5. Excellent process mapping and documentation skills using tools like Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart.
  6. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  7. Programming skills in languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
  8. Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
  9. Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  10. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  11. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
  12. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP).
  2. Certification in RPA tools such as UiPath Certified RPA Associate or Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals.
  3. Experience with AI and machine learning techniques in the context of process optimization and automation.
  4. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
