About the Role

In this role, you will help build platforms that are scalable, reliable, and secure. These platforms support critical financial processes and must remain available, meet regulations, and deliver a great customer experience.

This position focuses more on system design, architecture, and software engineering skills than on day-to-day coding.

Required Skills & Experience

You should have a solid grasp of software engineering principles and design patterns, including:

Hands-on Domain-Driven Design
Hands-on SOLID principles
Event-driven architecture
CQRS and Event Sourcing
Workflow and state-machine patterns
Resilience and fault-tolerance patterns
API-first design
Cloud-native architectures

You also need experience designing RESTful APIs, working with both relational and NoSQL databases, and building systems that are always available. Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and observability/monitoring tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and build software solutions that are scalable, secure, and creative
Work on full-stack applications with Java (JDK 17+), Spring Boot, React, and microservices
Build and manage databases and applications using SQL (Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL tools
Create RESTful APIs and web services using REST, XML, and JSON
Design client-side and server-side systems, ensuring the front end works well on mobile devices
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, and Quality Engineers in an Agile and BDD environment
Identify and fix software defects and implement upgrades to keep systems running smoothly and efficiently
Implement security and data protection measures
Write design documents that follow internal standards
Work with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver solutions
