We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to help unify multiple independent SaaS products into a cohesive platform. This is a high-impact role that blends strategy with hands-on execution, you’ll define the vision for our data architecture while staying close to implementation when it matters.

What you’ll do

Lead the unification of data architecture across multiple SaaS products, creating consistent patterns while respecting individual product needs;
Collaborate with technical leads to align architectural decisions across teams;
Design and optimize data storage across a variety of technologies: OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, relational databases, S3, NoSQL, and data warehouses;
Ensure performance and resilience at scale: indexing, query optimization, high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery;
Partner with the AI team to build data foundations for AI-driven capabilities;
Turn ambiguity into clear architectural direction and actionable decisions;
Mentor engineers and help teams become more autonomous and capable;
Balance performance, cost, and reliability across the platform.

What we’re looking for

Expertise with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, especially at scale (indexing, querying, performance tuning);
Experience across data technologies:
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, RDS);
- Object storage (S3);
- NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis);
- Data warehousing solutions.
Skilled cloud experience (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP are a plus);
Understanding of stateful workloads in Kubernetes;
Experience in platform architecture across multiple teams or products;
Senior-level mindset: You elevate others through mentorship and knowledge sharing;
Ability to influence without formal authority and navigate ambiguity with confidence;
Experience working with SaaS products and multi-tenant environments.
