Job Description

Role Overview:

The company is expanding its use of AI across internal business and technology functions. This role focuses on designing AI-enabled cloud infrastructure, establishing appropriate governance and security controls, and integrating AI capabilities into practical business workflows. Reporting to the AI Transformation leadership, the position combines cloud architecture, DevSecOps, AI platforms, and internal consulting to support the development and adoption of AI solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and build cloud infrastructure supporting agentic AI platforms, primarily on AWS with Azure as secondary, including account structure and environment design.
  • Implement SDN micro-segmentation and controls to contain or isolate rogue agent behavior.
  • Develop centralized policy and control planes for governing agent access and actions.
  • Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as OpenTofu/Terramate, Ansible, and GitHub Actions to automate and manage infrastructure.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders across multiple functions to identify high-impact AI integration opportunities in real workflows.
  • Facilitate discovery processes by mapping current-state workflows, quantifying pain points, defining desired outcomes, and translating ambiguous needs into clear requirements and success metrics.
  • Build and maintain an AI workflow roadmap prioritized by business impact, readiness, and change capacity, aligning with function leaders and the AI Transformation team.
  • Conduct build-versus-buy assessments for AI opportunities, delivering recommendations and implementation approaches.
  • Lead change management and enablement activities including workshops, playbooks, training sessions, and coaching to support AI literacy and adoption.
  • Create reusable patterns and standards for AI integration in internal tools, including workflow templates, governance checklists, and measurement frameworks.
  • Establish operational guardrails for AI-enabled workflows in collaboration with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams, focusing on data handling, PII safety, access controls, prompt injection resilience, and human-in-the-loop requirements.
  • Define evaluation and monitoring criteria for AI workflows covering accuracy, safety, cost, latency, and adoption, and implement feedback loops for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The role requires over 6 years of experience in internal consulting, business operations, product operations, or solutions architecture at the intersection of business and technology.
  • Candidates must have at least 4 years of software engineering experience shipping AI-enabled internal tools to production and experience contributing to or establishing internal AI initiatives.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise workflows, and regulated environments is essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management, AI fluency, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities are critical.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience is required.
