Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts on Ethereum and EVM-compatible blockchains.
- Build and maintain scalable decentralized applications (dApps) and Web3 platforms.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and blockchain integrations using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features and products.
- Architect blockchain solutions that prioritize scalability, security, and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Integrate wallets, token standards, payment systems, and third-party blockchain services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production blockchain applications.
- Implement security best practices and participate in smart contract audits and risk assessments.
- Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment processes.
- Research emerging blockchain technologies and evaluate new tools, protocols, and frameworks.
- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture planning, and engineering standards.
- Participate in technical discussions and help drive long-term product and technology strategy.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on blockchain development experience.
- Strong expertise in Solidity and Ethereum smart contract development.
- Experience building production-grade applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, decentralized systems, and Web3 technologies.
- Experience with ethers.js, viem, wagmi, or similar Web3 libraries.
- Knowledge of token standards including ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and scalable architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience building DeFi, NFT, RWA, or tokenization platforms.
- Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions and cross-chain technologies.
- Experience conducting or supporting smart contract security audits.
- Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience working in startups or high-growth technology companies.
- Open-source contributions within the blockchain ecosystem.
