Real Time Payment, Capgemini

Description: Real-time payment systems enable payments between bank accounts that can be initiated, cleared, and settled within seconds at any time of the day. This improves transparency and confidence in payments, which in turn helps consumers, banks, and businesses better manage their finances.
Key Deliverables:

  • Designed a secure payment solution using nano microservices, HashiCorp Vault, digital signature, Kubernetes Secrets, certificates, mTLS, JKS, Control-M job, Hazelcast, Kafka, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GRPC, and Spring Boot.
  • Made high-level design choices and architectural decisions for the project.

Data Insights, FIS

Description: The Data Insights system is designed to identify spending trends, detect fraudulent transactions, and optimize financial processes. Data sources used by the system include bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records. The system extracts relevant data from these sources and cleans and transforms it to ensure consistency and usability, which involves removing duplicates and filling in missing values. Once the data has been cleaned and transformed, it is loaded into a data warehouse to enable efficient storage and querying for analysis purposes. The analysis involves identifying trends, calculating key performance indicators, and visualizing data using charts and graphs.

  • Designed and Architect components using Kafka, pySpark, Databricks, Data Lake, Power BI, CI/CD tools.

Open Payment Framework, FIS

Description: FIS offers world-class payment solutions for financial institutions, clearing and settlement companies, and corporates based on the Open Payment Framework (OPF). The OPF is a library of component building blocks that enable the derivation of payment solutions. The framework is built entirely on reusable services, providing a wide array of payment solutions. OPF is based on the principle of independent layers and logically grouped services.
From the OPF, FIS has created predefined solutions around the Bank Payment Hub, including Domestic Payments, International Payments, SEPA, as well as e-Banking for retail, small business, and corporate payments. FIS offers products like OPF, SEPA, and XCT that support ISO, MT, and MX messages (SWIFT Messages) and provides end-to-end banking facilities for transaction flows.
Key Deliverables:

  • Worked as an Architect/Lead and participated in high-level design discussions with US and Europe counterparts.
  • Responsible for making high-level design choices and architectural decisions.

Secure Lending Dev, Fiserv

Description: The Secure Lending project is an e-Mortgage service that allows for the involvement of three parties: Lender, Vendor, and Borrower. The system provides a user interface for all three parties. The Lender can initiate a loan application, place an order, and upload documents for the other parties to sign. The other parties can either be a Signing Agent or the Borrower. The signing process can be done through traditional ink signing or through electronic signing, which eliminates the need for paper and ink.
Key Deliverables:

  • Implemented Java Persistence Architecture API (JPA) to replace EJB2 CMP Entity Beans for the entire product.
  • Participated in unit testing, requirement gathering, effort estimation, and impact analysis.
  • Implemented Multi-Factor Authentication functionality for the product, which involved integrating with the Iovation Reputation Manager third-party products to provide recommendations based on user history and present appropriate security screens.
  • Migrated from EJB 2.1 to EJB 3.0 and from WebLogic 8.3 to 10.3.
  • Migrated the product from Java 4 to Java 6 and enhanced reporting for the third-party product eOriginal.

Description: DMS is a versatile and customizable product designed to manage the lifecycle of customer documents in financial organizations. The system is integrated with various modules, including CAS, LMS, and Collection, which allow users to collect, upload, verify, track, release, and recollect documents. DMS is built on an MVC 2 architecture and offers multi-company, multi-locale, multi-lingual, and role-based access features. The system is designed to be independent and pluggable, allowing for easy integration with other systems and customization to
meet specific business needs.
