Challenge

A  U.S.-based online retailer specializing in pet food and pet-related products, that  surpassed Amazon in the niche, comes to us with a request for custom EDI solution to automate exciting documents exchanges with thousands of suppliers.

The client used various cloud and on-premises systems for supply planning, fulfillment, merchandising, and transportation. These systems, including native applications, vendor products, and SaaS applications, frequently communicated with external parties (e.g., vendors, manufacturers, FedEx, USPS).

Solution

Upstaff helped the client construct a modern EDI system, enabling stable usage, parsing, and production of billing and shipment documents for thousands of suppliers.

The platform connects with multiple systems, stores and manages integration jobs, generates comprehensive job summaries and responses, facilitates data modification via a user-friendly interface, and ensures timely notifications to stakeholders.
