I worked with Upstaff engineers for over 2 years, and my experience with them was great. We deployed several individual contributors to clients' implementations and put up two teams of upstaff engineers. Managers' understanding of tech and engineering is head and shoulders above other agencies. They have a solid selection of engineers, each time presented strong candidates. They were able to address our needs and resolve things very fast. Managers and devs were responsive and proactive. Great experience!

If you are already a developer and you are looking for the best career opportunities in the tech world developers. Nowadays, many companies are seeking for Angular Developers who can join their team. Whether you’re an expert in Angular or you’re just starting to learn, there’s no better time than now to explore the job market for Angular.

What is Angular?

Angular is a JavaScript framework developed and maintained by Google. It is used for building dynamic web applications and UI components. Developed by experts at Google, Angular has quickly become popular among developers for being an excellent framework for developing enterprise-level applications.

Angular’s strength in working with complex applications, its powerful data binding and dependency injection features, its modular architecture promotes code reuse, robust testing, and enables development teams to build applications faster.

Angular became so popular that it also raised demand for Angular jobs. Brands and small businesses are switching to Angular in order to develop their website. These brace changing attracted a lot of Angular developers. Angular jobs’ salaries are fair and career projection is awesome.

So for anyone out there, who are senior developers or for whom this will be the first time being introduced to it, simply put, Angular is one of the best tools out there for you or your organization to begin building modern, responsive web applications! If you’re feeling a little left out or on the sidelines regarding the Angular hype, don’t worry, there’s still plenty to gain. Now is the time to get on the train and explore Angular.

What are the requirements for an Angular developer?

Are you looking for a job as an Angular developer? Angular, a JavaScript framework made by Google, is one of the most popular tools for creating web apps. At the moment, Angular developers are highly in demand by start-ups and major companies in tech.

There are a few requirements you need to meet in order to be a good Angular developer. First and most importantly, you need to know JavaScript. The reason for this is because Angular is built on top of JavaScript and you need to have a basic understanding of JavaScript in order to be able to write Angular applications. In addition to this, it is useful to know TypeScript. TypeScript is a superset of JavaScript and the applications written in the Angular framework are written in TypeScript.

Beyond JavaScript, it is strongly advised to also have a good grasp of CSS and HTML. Angular can be used to develop dynamic web applications, and so experience of front-end technologies is essential too. This means that you should know some responsive design approaches, and be competent in using CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and understand the semantics of HTML.

And, preferably, you have experience with the Angular ecosystem, such as Angular CLI, RxJS and Angular Material UI library, and know how to use the Angular testing framework (Jasmine).

Additionally, having some experience with real-world Angular projects (by working on your own side projects or contributing to open-source projects) will help you land jobs; Angular has a lot of demand, so you want to show you have the chops to land interviews, which in turn increases your chances of actually getting Angular jobs. Finally, your portfolio should be created in Angular and filled with your projects. Whenever someone asks me for advice on learning how to code, one of my main lessons is always to have a portfolio ready, which allows you to show employers your skills and experience. Without a portfolio filled with projects, you will struggle to show proof of your skills in actual projects, which will weaken your job applications in the fiercely competitive tech world.

The difference between AngularJS and Angular

AngularJS and Angular are the same in terms of building modern web applications but different in terms of saying exactly what.

One of the biggest differences is that AngularJS is the older version (really, versions) of Angular. AngularJS was created in 2010 as a sort of mega-framework, and people flocked to it because of its two-way data binding, which was very easy to use, and a strong feature set. As the landscape of web development shifted, so did Angular. In 2016, Angular 2 was released and, after that, Angular continued to be released and versions 3, 4, and 5 followed (there is no Angular 1.5 or Angular 1.6, for example). Angular, known as Angular 2+ or, more commonly, just Angular, was a complete rewrite of AngularJS. It was a rewrite in the sense that, at a certain point, AngularJS was a framework called Angular 2 but, as time went on, the core team decided to start over and Angular 2 became its own framework, known as Angular.

A further difference is in the programming language. AngularJS and Angular use JavaScript, but Angular also relies heavily on TypeScript, a statically typed superset of JavaScript that adds static typing and other features to JavaScript and turns it into a more maintainable and less error-prone language. In fact, when we go to view the Angular website home page’s source code, we can see that in addition to JavaScript, it includes lines of code written in TypeScript.

Because of the improved demand for the skills, there are more Angular jobs available compared with AngularJS jobs. As Angular has introduced the latest and improved versions, many companies have migrated to Angular from AngularJS. Job opportunities continue to grow which makes for a more substantial job market. this is not to say that companies still using AngularJS won’t have job openings. I’m sure some do, but any company using legacy applications and needing new AngularJS developers might want to consider migrating to the latest version, called Angular. So, if you want the latest skillset and want to use them to get hired, perhaps start looking into Angular jobs.
